Vision of Community Chest

The Community Chest Campaign has attained the 50th anniversary taking root in the society as Japanese tradition and being supported by the spirit of residential mutual aid, which has been the basic idea of the Campaign since its establishment.

Today, while the society has rapidly shifted to have fewer children and more aged people, the residents’ consciousness toward social welfare has also changed. In such days that the society changes quickly, it deserves special mention that many people not only ask for substantiation of public social welfare systems but increasingly challenge various social welfare issues in an active manner as shown in Non-Profit Organization (NPO) or volunteer activities. Now we are in a new development stage of nongovernment social welfare activities.

Under such a circumstance, the Community Chest Campaign is required to play the role of urging residents to create a welfare community in which people can live at ease at a place they have long lived based on mutual aid of residents, and supporting various activities in the financial aspect for creation of such a community.

A prerequisite for that is daily efforts to deepen the confidence of residents through the Campaign. The Community Chest aims to carry out operations and information disclosure which is, for residents, transparent, easy to understand and easy to participate in, thereby play a core role in pursuit of creation of Japanese new culture with donation.

As a first step, the Central Community Chest of Japan established “the Community Chest Strategy Conceiving Committee Facing to the 21st Century” and announced the evaluation of the community chest and the necessity of reformation taking the opportunity of the 50th anniversary of the Community Chest Campaign in 1996. Currently, the Prefectural Community Chest are respectively promoting the said evaluation and reformation.

一応、運動として頑張らなくっちゃいけない立場なんだけれど。
この制度に微妙な違和感があって・・
「キリスト教徒とか喜捨の習慣が根付いている地域には、よい組織なんだけれど、今の日本には“あっていない制度”なんじゃないか。」と、思いながら従事している自分に疑問アリ＞＜
人様から見たら、モノスンゴク積極的に動いているように見える私なのかもしれないけれど・・・あと一か月したら、全国展開されるんです。自問自答中

やっぱり植物の生命力はすごいですね。

自分の危機を感じたらしく、
傷口が盛り上がっていく様（「にくぼ」という単語だと思いましたが・・・）に中央部分が・・・
もしかしたら、このままで、大丈夫な状態にまで復活するのかな？
